This role can be located anywhere in the USA. Remote USA, Remote TX, Remote Mass. The hiring manager is fine with the role remaining remote or if there is a desire to work from a Dell Office, that can also be explored.
The telecommunications industry is going through a major transformation within its network driven by several technology shifts, including 5G, the virtualization of the network functions and advancements in OSS/BSS including utilization of AI/ML. The Telecom Systems Business Unit (TSB) is a rapidly growing global organization comprised of specialized experts dedicated to strategically and intimately partnering with Telecom customers who are deeply engaged in a transformation within their network by delivering best-in-class technology and service solutions based on offerings from Dell Technologies.
What you’ll achieve
The Consultant Business Operations / Program Management is a critical role within the Strategic Planning and Operations team under the Dell Technologies Telecom Systems Business. He or she will partner with members of the Telecom team to develop and manage quarterly plans for Telecom learning and development and to manage Telecom 360 data and capabilities. Note: Telecom 360 is a tool that provides a comprehensive view of our telecom business including account specific financial performance, account plans, TSB strategic engineering engagements, upcoming meetings and relationship mapping.
This position requires extensive team member coordination, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to formulate issues and recommendations clearly. Attention to detail, project management skills, and a highly organized, process-focused mind are required to manage team priorities and deliverables. You must be able to execute under pressure/ deadlines and drive forward even when faced with ambiguity.
Own planning and program management of Telecom learning and development across a broad set of stakeholder managers and content creators in support of the Telecom offering portfolio
Prepare executive-ready content that demonstrates successes, learnings and corrective actions for learning and development function
Define and drive coordinated effort to provide executive-level visibility to cross-functional strategic account and network transformation plans via Telecom 360
Work with stakeholders to define business requirements for Telecom 360 capabilities to drive continuous improvement
Understand & work within organizational BMS (business management system) framework to drive timely, data-based decision-making
Work with cross-functional operations leaders to develop and administer BU-level reporting in conjunction with stakeholders
Lead or support special projects as needed

DESIRED CAPABILITIES/ EXPERIENCE
Executive impact – lead team problem solving, influence executive thinking and drive them to action when necessary
Communications - Strong written, power point and verbal communications skills
Business Management – manage consistent execution of cadenced business processes
Structured problem solving – disaggregate complex problems, drive analysis to understand root causes and propose solutions
Program Management – lead key business initiatives
5-7 years of related experience in an operations or project/program management role
Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline
Experience supporting core business operations processes and cadences
Proven project management knowledge and experience and the ability to communicate at all levels of the business
Proficiency with Smartsheet desired
Telecommunications product and/or industry knowledge
