Global Marketing Strategy IT Integration Consultant - (Customer Experience Modernization)

The Global Customer Experience Modernization team is responsible for leading Dell Technologies’ marketing modernization to deliver the optimal customer experience.  They are responsible for the technology, people, and process evolution to enable personalization at scale.  Using data science, they facilitate the customer journey and create custom experiences across digital platforms like events and site.  This team is also a critical enabler to deliver a digital sales experience that’s frictionless and aligned to the marketing strategy.  All these activities ultimately improve the customer experience, grow NPS and brand, and drive a healthier business. 

As the Global Marketing Strategy IT Integration Consultant it is this person’s responsibility to help the team deliver against our Marketing strategy and vision and strategic outcomes: driving on-going customer conversations and providing customers instant, effortless, and customized experience by anticipating their evolving needs and aspirations.  This person will be the primary liaison between Marketing and IT to align our Marketing and IT NorthStar goals.  They will drive architectural evaluations across IT supported programs, tools, and initiatives to help recognize potential synergies and opportunities to accelerate progress.  They will also be responsible for Agency and Vendor tool and platform proposal reviews to ensure alignment to our IT NorthStar and seamless integration.    

This role requires partnership across the Customer Experience Modernization team, Enterprise Data Team, and IT, plus stakeholder organizations such as online, CRM, Field Marketing, and Sales.  This individual must exhibit leadership skills with the ability to form strong partnerships across the team.  He or she must be both strategic and technical and be agile and proactive to drive progress for our Marketing NorthStar.  

Principal Accountabilities/Deliverables

  • Primary technical and strategic liaison between Customer Experience Modernization Team and IT

  • Coordinate regular communication between marketing, IT, and stakeholders to ensure alignment

  • Evaluate vendor and agency IT proposals to ensure compatibility with strategy and internal ecosystem

  • Facilitate progress against Marketing IT NorthStar

  • Ensure IT marketing solutions execution aligns to overall business and strategic priorities

  • Integrate with IT architects to identify opportunities to connect across programs/tools to accelerate vision

  • Help with strategic projects to enable the Strategy Cascade and Customer Experience Modernization vision

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing with a track record of measurable results preferably in the electronics or IT industry 

  • Strong technical background and knowledge for Marketing technology tools and platforms

  • Appetite for driving innovation and change

  • Good organizational agility and interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions and lines of business in a virtual organization

  • Ability to manage through ambiguity to drive results

Minimum Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration.

  • Solid understanding of Dell’s Corporate and Local BUs cultures highly preferred.
